Nizammah Ward, LMHC

Above all, be kind to yourself and enjoy life

Greetings, I am Nizammah Ward, LMHC at your service. Do you find it difficult to ask for help? Asking for assistance doesn’t equate to weakness, it’s actually a strength! I pride myself on encouraging my clients to see and be the strength that is already within them. I use an integrative approach in that each individual is unique and processes thoughts differently. Mindfulness based CBT allows clients to find peace within themselves through grounding. This heightened awareness of self enables us to live in accordance with our values even in the face of opposition.
In addition, motivation interviewing is used to ensure the counselor client relationship is based on the elements the client would like to address. I have 8 plus years experience working with adults and families with various challenges including; mood disorders, grief, family issues, self-esteem, stress management, personal growth etc.
I provide an environment of acceptance where trust and respect is cultivated and judgments are non existent. Join me in this voyage and take the first steps into exploring your greatness.
