I understand how difficult it can be in searching for a therapist that feels like the right fit. The most important thing to me, and about my approach, is that the relationship between myself and my clients is equally as important as providing services. I use an easy manner, warmth, honesty, humor (as appropriate), and a direct approach when working with clients. My goal is to provide a safe emotional environment that is optimal for healing. With that being said, I also understand that I will not always be a match for each person I have the opportunity to work with and that therapy alone, at times may not be enough. It is important for you, as a client, to feel have the best fit that meets your needs, and if it is determined that we are not a match, I am willing to provide you with resources for other providers. I have experience with different treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic and Post-Modern approaches. I tailor my treatment approach to what elicits the most effective outcomes for my clients.
