Putting yourself first is an important step in empowerment. Often times we care for other’s needs and wants before our own. It is time for you to make time to better yourself. My theoretical backgrounds are Person-Centered and Solution Focused Therapy. I feel that these approaches make the clients feel empowered and they have the ability to make their own decisions in the counseling process. I believe it is important to have a non-judgmental atmosphere while providing counseling services. I’m sensitive to cultural differences, and I reflect that in my style of counseling.
