I believe that everyone has the ability to live a life where they can feel fulfilled, regardless of what obstacles and challenges life has thrown at them! My favorite part about being a Therapist is being able to see someone transition from a “low” point in their life to a place where they feel fulfilled and happy. I have experience providing individual and family therapy in a variety of settings including private practice, hospitals and schools. A lot of my work with clients is focused on stress management, processing experiences of trauma or abuse, coping with depression and anxiety and adjusting to life challenges.
I use a humanistic, person-centered approach to therapy. I aim to help you have a better understanding of your feelings and experiences so that you can become a stronger, healthier you. Every person is different, and therefore, I use a variety of treatment approaches to best support my clients including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Solution Focused Brief therapy.
My first goal is to learn more about you and figure out what it is that YOU want out of the process as well as goals for yourself. From there we can start to take the steps necessary to make some adjustments to get you on track to accomplishing your goals!
