Using an integrative & holistic model, incorporating the body, my focus is finding ways of relating to each client as an individual, tailoring sessions for your specific needs, in a collaborative process.
As race based trauma is felt and experienced on a bodily level, along with all of our personal experiences, good & bad, healing & change also take place in the body; not solely in our rational brains. Bringing the body into our work is a way to not only regulate & calm the nervous system, but also a way to create more room & opportunity for growth.
