When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, right? Easier said than done when you are a minority. It is no secret that often times, we are at a disadvantage and have to work harder than our majority counter parts. This often leads to unhealthy coping mechanisms and ignoring the importance of self care. That is where I come in.
Whether you identify as an adolescent suffering from bullying, a spouse in a marriage that’s lost its passion, a parent concerned with dysfunction in your family, or an individual struggling with grief, depression, or anxiety, I am here to help.
I believe therapy is a place to help uncover your truths. We all have the tools necessary to be our best selves, sometimes we just a little guidance.
As a fellow minority myself, I believe it is my duty as a therapist to be an advocate for clients who feel as though they do not have a voice. I believe in you, but in order to overcome adversity, you must believe in yourself. It’s okay to admit that you need help! Are you ready to find your voice? Reach out today.
