I utilize holistic and evidenced-based approaches such cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and EMDR. I have worked with children, adults, and families for many years and have gained extensive experience and training in treating conditions such as but not limited to acute, complex, and intergenerational trauma, depression, grief, low self-esteem, anxiety, major life transitions, immigration/acculturation challenges, perinatal mental health, attachment difficulties, as well as stress related to racism and oppression.
In order to provide inclusive care – I must listen to the stories of my clients and dedicate myself to a lifelong process of better understanding the implications of race, gender, sexual orientation, and beyond. I will work diligently to center my work on intersectionality and bringing conscious awareness to the voices of marginalized communities.
I offer free 30 minute consultations to prospective clients. This is an opportunity for me to get to know you better, understand your needs, and assess if you and I would be a good fit to work together. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you!
