About

The first thing you should know is that I lead with my authentic self and don’t believe a therapist should be a so called blank slate. I do not show up in the traditional way as I bring into the therapy space both my experiences , education and knowledge.

I welcome that when we sit together I will listen purposefully as our sessions are more of a conversation. We will process, together, co-exploring your unique story. We will in all likelihood share some laughs, looks and common experiences.

I am honored as I am commonly referred to as safe, relatable, easy to talk to, nonjudgmental, and thoughtful. My beliefs are that:
– All people move towards their best selves when they feel safe, connected to others, feel a sense of meaning and purpose, and feel understood and validated.
– Racism is trauma.
– We are responsible for our healing.
