About

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Scared? Out of control? Inexplicably sad? Lost? It is my goal to help you to move from a place of struggle in your life, and towards a space of confidence and trust in yourself. By creating a warm, steady, and curious space, with just the right amount of humor and lightness, I help in connecting through exploration of moments of past hurts to find happiness in your life now. I will work with you to help you feel empowered and informed about what you need, and how to get there from here.

I use multicultural and multisystemic lenses to understand attachment and experiences of trauma and coping. Through knowing these pieces, we are able to more comprehensively recognize and validate why historical coping skills have worked, and also create goals for how to shift and live a life that feels more connected, valuable, and joyful.

I use a relational and narrative therapy framework to understand the story of each person. Through using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) I work to encourage movement towards a more peaceful and fulfilled life.
