About

I specialize in working with people who struggle with eating disorders, addictions, relationship issues and personal growth. Additionally, those suffering from depression and anxiety tend to find new ways of experiencing their world with less distress and an increase in feelings of wholeness and engagement in life. My patients and I enjoy using creative and expressive means in understanding the human experience, such as with music, art, poetry, and Jungian Sandplay.

I have worked with clients of all ages in both private practice and as Director of residential treatment programs in Southern California and have witnessed the transformation of many people’s suffering. As a former Naval Officer, I have extensive experience working with military members, veterans, and their families.

Additionally, I conduct psychological testing which is offered to help in identifying challenges or concerns with aptitude and functioning for both children and adults. When clients work with me, they receive individualized treatment that pulls from their strengths.
