About

Therapy is a safe space where you can examine your worries, fears, and traumas with the support of a trained professional. I specialize in supporting people in recovering from trauma, ranging from experiences of abuse, the traumatic death of a loved one, chronic medical illnesses, race and gender-based trauma, and sexual assault. The strength of the relationship that we build is the most significant factor to the overall success of therapy.

Somatic Abolitionism is an embodied anti-racist practice specifically designed to support Black and Brown people in healing. Outside of Full Living, Marquita works as a Clinical Supervisor at the Therapy Center of Philadelphia, a feminist organization that serves women, transgender, and non-binary people.
